Odgens is an unspoilt
pretty hamlet in the North Western part of the New Forest. A tranquil area in
the heart of the New Forest yet only a short drive from Fordingbridge or Ringwood.
There is an excellent local equestrian centre (about 400yds away). Salisbury and
Bournemouth lay only about 20/25 minutes car drive away.
There are several
excellent pubs for meals in the vicinity most of which are
dog-friendly.There is also an award winning farm shop with
lots of local produce and a cafe in nearby South Gorley also
a nice tearoom in Hyde village.

Apart from ponies you can also watch
the local cricket team here during the Summer weekends.

and foal take advantage of lush valley grazing in the early
relaxing in the sun in the lanes.
